Hello, I’m Karen Pierce, founder and owner of Apparel Chick. When I started my business a decade ago, it went by another name. But everyone started calling me “that apparel chick”, and it stuck. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, I relocated to the United States in my twenties in search of the land of milk and honey I had always heard about. Since then, I have never looked back and am a proud American Citizen.
Apparel Chick exists for one reason only, to assist our clients reach out to the world. Whether you have a club, a company, a service organization or a school… you have an identity, a brand, a message or a spirit that you wish to promote. We begin with your message, which can be anything…a logo, a picture or the written word. We create a design that portrays a positive image of you. Then we artfully attach that message to clothing, accessories or promotional items to maximize your exposure. That’s what we do. We exist only to help you promote the best of what you do. We may be small, but we think big.

Apparel Chick is a HUB certified woman-owned and operated small business, founded in Sugar Land, TX in 2011. We provide custom screen printing, embroidery and direct to garment as well as a wide variety of promotional products to personalize and promote your brand, group, event or activity.
We focus on delivering quality custom goods and provide efficient, reliable, and successful long term-client relationships, beginning here in Texas where we started and growing with clients all over the country.

Frequently Asked Questions
We treat each project with kid gloves and as if it were our only one. Whether you need 24 fan shirts for your sports team, 250 shirts for your church youth program, 150 corporate golf shirts, or 5,000 runners’ shirts for an upcoming race, we will provide you with quality products, great pricing and stellar customer service!
Like most companies, our miniums for screenprinting is 24 pieces and 15 for embroidered pieces. We will always make exceptions, however and and can print as little as 12 if you have a specific need. Mimimums for promo items range widely, depending on the item. Remember, the higher the quantity ordered, the lower the pricing per item!
We pride ourselves for being the fastest turnaround in town. We do have many customers, each with deadlines; however it is safe to say most projects can be turned around in two weeks or less. Let us know your “need by” and we will do our best to make it happen!
We need a little information from you to determine the cost of our project. Pricing will depend on the style of your apparel, quantity you will be ordering, how many colors in your design and the design location(s). We’ve made it quick and easy to submit a quote request via our online form (Link). You can also reach out directly by giving us a ring!
We can deliver locally within a radius; courier or ship to you directly locally and nationwide. We love our out of town customers just as much as our local ones!
The best art format is eps/vector for a clean copy. However, if you have a pdf, JPEG or PNG we may be able to use it or clean it up for printing quality (we do this all day long) You will also own your artwork and there is no charge for reorders.
No problem! We have hundreds of clipart and font designs to help with a creation, and we have fantastic in house graphic designers that can help you with your vision.
We have access to most products and feel confident we can probably find it. Feel free to contact us and we will do our very best to find it!
Yes of course! We send our quotes and artwork proofs for your approval and nothing is ordered or goes into production until we have everything perfect and ready to go!
